Under the cart screwing the cross-members to the deck.
The next step was to join the frame and make the skeleton of the cart. As seen here I had to actually get on the floor so I could get underneath the cart to secure the cross-members to the cart’s deck. this took a little more time than I thought it would as I had to make sure each of the side uprights were in the exact position they needed to be in and I also had to make sure they didn’t move as I crawled underneath the cart. I didn’t mention this in the last post but that post kind of runs into this one.

Checking out the underside of the cart.
I found myself on my back in the floor a lot longer than I had planned on being there as not only did the sides have to be in the correct place, but the cross-members that ran across the deck had to be exact as well. I had to remember that this was a 3 dimensional project, and to make a project like that, you have to have many things come together at the same time. I was not, however, going to let this beat me.

All done with the (body) framework.
After what seemed like hours, I finally called the cart body framework done. Notice that it’s dark outside. As I soon discovered, there was a lot more framework to be done, but I followed the plans pretty closely and the next step was to work on the top.ðŸŒ
